Overview:
In our Design Team Challenge groups will compete in a pitch to win business based on an actual company brief. They will have to create marketing materials from scratch. At the end of the session your team will need to present their marketing strategy, mock ups, strap lines, mission statements, designs and product design to the panel of judges.
The Objectives:
- To encourage creative thinking
- Understanding the customer
- Provides an innovative way of introducing members to each other
- To create an agency environment for new ideas
- Budgetary control
- To encourage honest feedback from team members at the conclusion.
The Brief:
Each team represents a design agency who have been asked to pitch for a new marketing strategy for in store promotions for a particular project and customer.
Projects include:
- Retail point of sale
- Recruitment brochure
- Company sales literature
Teams must consider budget, target market, unique selling point and all design elements.
The Result:
At the end of the session each team will present their marketing strategy to the judges. This is a very enlightening and fun session, which has, actually resulted in new marketing ideas being created and considered for future company strategies.
