Balloon Modelling
With a fun demonstration team must create a sculpture with crazy sausage balloons. Balloon sculptures include animals, birds, swords, insects, hats, aeroplanes and perhaps a completely new idea from the participants. This is hilarious fun!
Circus Whizz
Under the guidance of our circus wizard teams will learn how to juggle balls, clubs, diablos, devil sticks, spin a plate, a western spinning rope and walk on cup stilts. Each team will have a selection of their own circus toys to practice with and put together a short act to entertain our expert! Some tricks involve the teams working together and helping each other achieve success.
Masterpiece Whispers
Each team has to replicate a masterpiece, controlling the effects of 'Chinese Whispers' as they do so. This is one of our most-popular exercises with results generally more amusing than accurate; however, it effectively demonstrates how a simple message can be distorted for any number of reasons, leaving the vision and final result a long way apart!
Tallest Tower
Using the blocks teams race head to head to build the tallest tower, with only a few minutes available for this teams must plan and work quickly. With the time pressure mistakes can be made and towers can easily tumble to the ground without proper planning. The tallest tower recorded at a set time will be our winner. Teams can’t hold it up!
T-shirt Design
The challenge is for teams to come up with an imaginative and clever design that will promote themselves, their team and the company. The T-Shirt Design workshop is a great opportunity for the creative design skills of the team to come to the fore, when they create something truly unique. This is a perfect start to a team day and they can also wear their T-shirts for the rest of the event.
Whose Line is it anyway!
A series of improvisation and re-enactments for teams to depict or act out certain situations, for example the ‘Ben Hur chariot race’ or a ‘closing scene from Eastenders’. Props and costumes are supplied and it’s up to the teams to see how many they can do in the allocated time. There are over 20 of them to complete and this can get very noisy will all teams performing at once.
Table Olympics
The whole table will have to work together to win at this game. We will supply a net and ball challenge for each team that has to be played as they sit at their conference table. Getting everyone to work together is not as easy as it seems and communication is key.
Picasso
Each participant must paint a Picasso style portrait of their colleague including elements reflecting their personality, hobbies or any thing their colleagues may not know about. At the end of the session the best portraits will need to be explained to the rest of the group. This activity really encourages participants to share information about themselves. This is a great way to really get to know your colleagues and they may even surprise you with hidden talents.
Human Machine
Without any props or materials, teams have only their own bodies to construct a series of objects from a Lynx Helicopter to the Eiffel Tower.
Mini Sculpture
Each team is given a selection of bits and bobs and basic art materials. Teams must create a sculpture from materials supplied that depicts a given company message or vision. These are displayed at the end of the event in our very own 'Tat Gallery'. |
